Self-taught photographer.

Since my childhood, I always loved and spent many hours in the mountains. So naturally, insects and small animals were my friends and toys from Spring to Fall. When the seasons changed, I knew exactly where they are hiding, when my favorite tree blooming... etc. Simply, I was a part of the small mountains behind my town.

When I moved to California, I fell in love with the Sierra Nevada especially Yosemite and the Eastern Sierra. Those are so different than mountain range in Korea but still have the same beauty that I know of.

Since I was the part of my surrounded mother natureI see, feel the beauty of nature but I noticed many have no eyes for it and don't know how to appreciate those moments even when it's happening in front of their eyes. So I tried to capture those moments and share. It could be a simple sunset near our house, flowers from the market, a wonderful sunset at the desert or magnificent California's spring wildflower bloom.

I really hope you will enjoy the moments I captured and it gives you a small peaceful moment in your life.

P.S.: Many people asked me about WICS. Yes, that's my initial. Won-ill Chung's.
